Scans

So...yesterday I get up at 7:30am and suck down my berry barium. Have my dad drop me off at cancer center because he has to use my car. I'm at the lab before 9am. Nurse Jackie is ready to access my port and draw blood (I'm a badass now and don't need no stinkin' numbing spray-ha ha). I proceed down the hallways to the main hospital to radiology. They tell me my appointment was for the 4th. WHAAAT??? My paperwork says the 3rd. I tell them my port is accessed and I drank my barium. The fit me in! Whew! Had bone scan injection then had CT. Then I made a beeline for the cafeteria. Took my donut, salad, cheese cubes, & tea up to the 5th floor of cancer center. Ate and then met my sis-in-law outside in the courtyard for lunch. Then I read until my bone scan at 2:30. By the time I was picked up I was exhausted! Still tired.
