Chemo Brain

I think I have chemo brain. Sometimes I can't remember words or completely forget what I'm talking about while I'm talking. I see my primary care doc today so I'll ask if it can happen this far out from chemo. I "lost" my fitbit for a while yesterday. I had it in my hand to take it upstairs to charge it and completely forgot where I had put it. Looked all over the house and finally used the app to set an alarm. It was on my bed under some books. Geez!
So, chemo brain goes away over time. The American Cancer Society has a list of day-to-day coping that sounds a lot like normal healthy behaviors: eat veggies, get enough sleep, exercise, etc. ACA also says to use a planner and keep a diary to track memory problems.
"You are not stupid or crazy...-ACA
